Center for Criminal Justice Data and Accountability

About the Center

Building on the work that has so far been organized by the Community Law Enforcement Accountability Network (CLEAN), the Center for Criminal Justice Data and Accountability will support the development of a deeper understanding of California policing. The CLEAN initiative was launched by a consortium that includes the Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the California Reporting Project, Stanford University’s Big Local News and groups across Berkeley.
