Join us for an informal round-table discussion of potential research and collaboration opportunities with the new Data Science Institute at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Special guests Mike Goldman and several of his LLNL research colleagues - including Timo Bremer, Michael Schneider, Dan Faissol, and Alan Kaplan - will be visiting BIDS, and all interested BIDS and campus community members are welcome to attend and participate in the conversation.
The BIDS Open Table series features brief introductory research talks and active discussion sessions in an informal atmosphere. BIDS Open Tables are designed to facilitate new collaborations through BIDS among researchers and groups across the data science community at Berkeley. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and get acquainted with new colleagues from across campus.
