Intel is known as a hardware manufacturer, so people are often surprised to learn that it is also the fifth largest software company in the world. Bob Rogers, Intel’s chief data scientist for analytics and AI solutions, explains why he exists at Intel and how he works with users of Intel technology to help them achieve their data science goals. As an example, he will describe the “Intel Inside, Safer Children Outside” program, which aims to accelerate the efforts of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to rescue children who are at risk.
