This week, Ben Nachman from LBNL will present some of his recent work on applying Machine Learning at the LHC. He will in particular tell us about his application of deep generative models to enable fast simulations, and a methodology to perform classification in the absence of labels in the training data. Full details are posted here: https://www.benty-fields.com/manage_jc?groupid=191

The Berkeley Statistics and Machine Learning Discussion Group meets weekly to discuss current applications across a wide variety of research domains and software methodologies.
