BIDS’ central facility in 190 Doe Library serves as a meeting place for research discussions, talks, and events. The BIDS community is not tied to any particular location or department, and openly shares all of the research outputs that researchers and staff here develop. As such, BIDS has created and maintained a reputation of open engagement with the entire campus, which has been an integral factor in fostering collaboration and data science engagement with research.
