Kerrison, with colleagues from UCSF and Brown University, have recently been awarded a 5-year $3.7M National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) grant to investigate The Impact of Racism on Trajectories of Substance Use, Mental Health and Legal System Contact from Adolescence to Young Adulthood.

Bin Yu to be honored at the 38th ASA Quality and Productivity Research Conference

BIDS Faculty Affiliate Bin Yu – Chancellor's Distinguished Professor in Berkeley Statistics and Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, and the former president of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics – will be honored at the American Statistical Association's 38th Quality and Productivity Research Conference. "Data, Statistics, and Responsibility" is the theme of this year's conference, which will take place June 13-16, 2022, at San Francisco State University.
