Speaker(s)

Eric Betzig

Eric Betzig won the 2014 Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work developing superresolution fluorescence microscopy, which allows scientists to look inside cells and see the pathways of individual molecules.  He completed his doctoral studies in physics at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and has most recently worked at HHMI's Janelia Farm Research Campus.
