Bio/CV:
Evelyn Bellew is a PhD student in the department of Sociology at U.C. Berkeley. Her research focuses on how organizational practices and labor policies impact worker well-being. Her current project examines the impacts of intensification on direct care workers in U.S. nursing homes. Prior to graduate school she worked as a labor analyst on the U.S. Senate HELP Committee and holds a BA in Political Science and American Studies from Tufts University.
