Bio/CV:
Liam Parker is a Ph.D. student and NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the Physics Department at UC Berkeley, advised by Uroš Seljak. His research interests are in cosmology, with an emphasis on statistical methods for large-scale data analysis, and AI. He co-leads the Lightcone Research initiative at BIDS, building open-source infrastructure for AI-assisted science. He is also a member of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument and an affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs. Prior to Berkeley, he received his A.B. in Physics from Princeton and completed a predoctoral fellowship at the Flatiron Institute.
