Arash Ardakani is a Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS) Research Scholar, advised by Prof. John Wawrzynek at University of California, Berkeley. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University and his master in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. His research interests include scientific methods for efficient neural computing, memory management in inference and training of large artificial intelligence models, stochastic computing, edge computing, hardware accelerators, and applications of machine learning for digital hardware design.
