Bio/CV:
George Obaido is a Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS) - Center for Human-Compatible Artificial Intelligence (CHAI) Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, working with BIDS Faculty Affiliate Rediet Abebe, an assistant professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley. Obaido completed his PhD in Computer Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. His research interests lie in using machine learning to find solutions to problems of societal importance.
